In support of the Katie Piper Foundation, Kim and Claire at Boyes Turner LLP will be taking on the challenge of hiking through the diverse landscape of the Sahara Desert, trekking across sand dunes in temperatures of over 40 degrees!
We are helping to raise much needed funds to help the survivors of burns and traumatic scarring. Each year in the UK, 250 adults suffer burns severe enough to impact their independence, ability to work and maintain and develop stable relationships. The Katie Piper Foundation provides both specialist face to face rehabilitation and telerehabilitation programmes to help people like Jane:
Jane, aged 30 was severely burnt in a house fire but with the support of the Katie Piper Foundation and their physiotherapy team, she learned to walk again. Her ongoing rehabilitation helped her regain her independence and confidence to start going out again and meet new people.
